Where does carp rank? This is a fascinating line of discussion, please expand. Also I take objection to the whole Val thing being your biggest observer. I don't make a decision without consulting the AlaskaBoy website. It informs me on so many levels.

I'd be curious to see where salmon fits in, not to forget Chilean Sea Bass (which I don't think is either Chilean or a bass.)
Also - I'm watching this blog FAR more than Val, mostly cuz I'm in front of a computer screen for most of my working day instead of wasting my time seeing patients and healing people.
